Join Friends of the Library

Friends of the Library is a nonprofit advocacy organization which supports the Library. Our volunteer members advocate, educate, and raise funds on behalf of the Library, its patrons, and the community.


"The Friends raise funds to be used by the Library for activities not ordinarily covered under the Library's operating budget since ongoing Library operations are paid for by city and county dollars.

  • During National Library Week the Friends group hold their annual book sale. In the fall of the year the Friends hold a Candy and Nut Sale, and have held holiday tour of homes in December.
  • The Friends group consists of 5 board members.

  • Friends memberships may be purchased during National Library week in April.  $10.00 for a membership and $25.00 for a supporting  membership.
